Day One:

Guests will arrive, Caroline and Steven will assist with hotel check-in, and we will have a provided group dinner in the evening.

Optional passeggiata, or post-dinner walk through the beautiful via Prione in La Spezia, with stops at the Porto Mirabello & more

Day Two:

Our first beautiful Cinque Terre hike! We will start in Vernazza and end in Monterosso.

Evening sunset boat cruise on the Ligurian Sea with gorgeous views of Cinque Terre! Drinks and dinner are included on the boat tour.

Day Three:

Our second beautiful Cinque Terre hike. This time we will start in Vernazza and end in Corniglia, stopping at a magical little coffee shop in the hills along the way...this includes one of my favorite seaside viewpoints! Please note that all hiking is optional and you can always enjoy free time on your own as an alternative.

Lunch will be provided in Corniglia, and you'll have the evening free to do as you please.

Day Four:

We will spend our day traveling to a magical, medieval town, one of "i borghi piu belli d'Italia" ("the most beautiful villages of Italy"). This includes a tour of the town, breathtaking viewpoints, and a cooking class & lunch at a wonderful private villa and garden.

Our activity will take up most of the day, and we will leave you with the evening free to do as you please.

Day Five:

The morning will start with a ferry from La Spezia to the wonderful town of Portovenere, where we will hike the nearby "Isola Palmaria", or "Palmaria Island", and finish with a tour of the beautiful 11th century church of San Pietro built on the hill overlooking the Ligurian Sea. The island hiking is optional and guests can always enjoy a leisurely morning in Portovenere instead. Group lunch provided in Portovenere. Evening free to explore on your own.

Day Six:

On day six we will take a day trip to the beautiful Tuscan town of Lucca. Here we will tour a breathtaking vineyard and participate in a local, artisanal wine-tasting. Lunch will be served at the vineyard. Evening free to explore on your own.

Day Seven:

For our last full day together, we will start with the renowned Riviera Dreamer seaside flat, panoramic bike tour. A fabulous lunch on the beach to follow.

We will finish our magical week with a sunset walk along the Via Dell'Amore, a walking path right along the sea from Riomaggiore to Manarola.

Day Eight:

Hotel check-out by 11 AM, Caroline and Steven will assist guests with information about how to get to their next destination.
